The duration of the Diploma course (D. Pharmacy) is 2 Academic Years & Degree course (B. Pharmacy) is 4 Academic Years (8 Semester) in every academic year. In addition to academic curriculum, for diploma course 500 hours practical training spread over a period of not less than 3 months is mandatory.
Eligibility as per State Govt. Regulation (DTE, Raipur)
• Minimum qualification for admission in two year Diploma in Pharmacy course and four year Bachelor of Pharmacy course Passing 12th with essential subject as Physics, Chemistry and Maths/ Biotechnology/Biology from (10+2) education system of Board of secondary education, Chhattisgarh or equivalent exam from any recognized board with minimum 45% marks for UR category and with a minimum of 40% marks for SC, ST, OBC category and PWD candidate of Chhattisgarh.
• Passing separately in each of the 3 main qualifying subjects Physics, Chemistry and Maths /Biotechnology /Biology (Theory and Practical) as per rules of concerning board is essential.
• Any other qualification approved by the Pharmacy Council of India as equivalent to any of the above examination. Provided that there shall be reservation of seats for Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribes candidates in accordance with the instructions issued by the Central Govt. /State Govts./Union Territory, may be from time to time.
• Entrance exam PPHT (Pre Pharmacy Test) conducted by Government through The Chhattisgarh Professional Examinations Board ( CGVyapam Exam) is compulsory for B. Pharmacy course.
